The extensive g:Stat database draws detailed financial data from governmental comprehensive annual financial reports (CAFRs) and translates the raw data into ratios-- making numbers instantly useful for analysis and benchmarking.  All CAFRs in the database have been recognized by the Government Finance Officer's Association (GFOA) for Excellence in Financial Reporting and therefore compose a consistent, audited platform for ratio information.
